GREEN CREATIVE’S 6-inch and 4-inch High CRI Downlights receive ENERGY STAR qualification

GREEN CREATIVE, the commercial grade LED lighting manufacturer is proud to announce the ENERGY STAR qualification of its CRISP SERIES 6” and 4” High CRI downlights. GREEN CREATIVE now has over 60 ENERGY STAR qualified products.

South San Francisco, CA, February 28, 2014 -- GREEN CREATIVE, the commercial grade LED lighting manufacturer is proud to announce the ENERGY STAR qualification of its CRISP SERIES 6” and 4” High CRI downlights. GREEN CREATIVE now has over 60 ENERGY STAR qualified products.

GREEN_CREATIVE_CEC_DL_ES_LEDmag.jpg
In addition to ENERGY STAR, the 6” and 4” downlights also meet Title 24 installation standards and comply with the California Quality Specification set forth by the California Energy Commission (CEC). This voluntary specification has stricter performance standards than ENERGY STAR, especially regarding CRI and chromaticity.

As members of GREEN CREATIVE’S CRISP SERIES, the 6” Downlight 16W and 4” Downlight 12W retrofit kits provide exceptional color rendering with typical CRI 92 and R9 60 values. These dimmable fixtures make individual colors look crisper and cleaner than typical CRI 80 LED lamps and are ideal for applications that demand accurate color rendering such as retail, food, museums, and art galleries.

The California Quality Spec requires a tighter chromaticity than ENERGY STAR. Both the new 6” and 4” downlights meet the CEC’s 4-step requirement and deliver comfortable diffused light in Warm White CCTs. Compared to ENERGY STAR’s 7-step requirement, a 4-step Macadam ellipse minimizes lamp to lamp color deviation, creates truer 2700K and 3000K CCTs, and ensures projects involving a large number of lamps have a consistent color temperature.

Both the 6” and 4” LED downlights install in just minutes and are compatible with both existing incandescent housing and new LED housing. The dimmable 6” Downlight 16W is ENERGY STAR qualified in 3000K and 2700K, replaces a 75W incandescent and lasts 35,000 hours. Data sheet available here:
http://www.gc-lighting.com/wp-content/uploads/GREEN-CREATIVE-LED-6inch-1...

The dimmable 4” Downlight 12W is ENERGY STAR qualified in 2700K, replaces a 50W incandescent and lasts 35,000 hours. Data sheet available here: http://www.gc-lighting.com/wp-content/uploads/GREEN-CREATIVE-LED-4inch-1...

GREEN CREATIVE also offers a high CRI A19 and BR30 that meet the California Quality Specification. All products are available through GREEN CREATIVE distributors. Harry Holland shows ‘Blindfold’ at Mineta Fine Art

Brussels, Belgium, February 24, 2014 -- Mineta Fine Art Brussels hosts Harry Holland's new exhibition 'Blindfold', recent and new paintings from the international acclaimed painter. The exhibition opens Saturday March, 22, 2014 at 4 p.m. and is open to the public until April 19, 2014, Wed -Sat 2-7 p.m. An illustrated catalogue with introduction by Edward Lucie-Smith will be available from March 10th.

About Blindfold - Harry Holland has created over several decades a body of work which is easily recognizable. His treatment of light and form occupies a specific space between evidence and mystery. Both rational and irrational elements are crucial for understanding the underlying meaning. Underlying his mastery of the painting technique, often taken as the only identification of the work, is a subversive attitude created through imbued relations between people and objects. Ordinary people are engaged in rituals that transforms reality into hidden narrative implications. This exhibition is an invitation to enter this world from behind the blindfold of our preconceptions.

Harry Holland was born in Glasgow in 1941. He trained at St. Martin's School of Art from 1965-69. Since the 1970s this extraordinary classical artist has had over 30 solo exhibitions and figured in countless group exhibitions worldwide. Not surprisingly, his work has developed a substantial international following amongst collectors and has found its way into numerous important public collections world-wide including the Tate Gallery, British Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, National Museum of Wales, National Portrait Gallery Canada, Welsh Arts Council, European Parliament Collection, Belgian National Collection and the Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge. Harry Holland works at Cardiff, UK and can be reached at http://harry-holland.com

Access value immediately with Assetline's new Sales Advance Loans

The lengthy wait to sell valuables and get your money - or be forced into a fire-sale for far less than their worth - is over, thanks to personal asset lending specialist Assetline's pioneering Sales Advance Loans, a first for the Australian market.

Sydney, February 20, 2014 -- The lengthy wait to sell valuables and get your money - or be forced into a fire-sale for far less than their worth - is over, thanks to personal asset lending specialist Assetline's pioneering Sales Advance Loans, a first for the Australian market.

Being forced to sell an item too quickly can decimate its value, but until now the only other option available to owners was waiting for up to six months for an auction process to complete. With a Sale Advance Loan they can instead access a substantial portion of an item's value within 24 hours, and the rest later on. The product is ideal for those who want to sell high value assets such as fine art, jewellery, antiques and collectibles, vintage cars or luxury boats.

Maximising sale price

Nick Raphaely, co-founder, Assetline says the solution allows borrowers to maximise their immediate liquidity, as well as their final sales price.

"Waiting several months to realise your money means that you may miss out on other lucrative opportunities. The auction process can be lengthy and finding private buyers is also time consuming and challenging. Assetline's Sales Advance Loans give you the best of both worlds: some immediate liquidity, and the time to sell your asset for the very best price," Nick Raphaely says.

Avoiding lengthy auction delays

Selling valuable items can take many months as it involves extensive appraisals as well as identifying target buyers. Certain categories of asset are only auctioned a couple of times a year.

"The size of the Australian market also makes it much harder to find buyers for more unusual collectibles. The last thing you want is to lose value through a fire sale because you urgently need to liquidate. A Sale Advance Loan buys you the chance to wait," Nick Raphaely says.

"As it's a short term loan the overall cost in interest is low, and far less than the value lost through a too-quick sale."

Strong market demand

The solution has been welcomed by auctioneers who say it will give more people confidence to both buy and sell.

"Liquidity has always been a problem with art. You can have very sound investment in arts and antiques, but your money has traditionally been tied up for the medium-to-longer term. So this is a product that is long overdue in Australia, that has been available in America and Europe for some time," says Paul Sumner, MD of auction house Mossgreen.
